We hold one session every 2-3 weeks, covering a selection of the following 6 topics:
· Dietician - Healthy Eating
An explanation of healthy eating and how you can help to maintain or achieve a healthy weight, including portion sizes and food labelling
· The Benefits of Exercise
What sort of exercise should you do, how often should you do it and how hard should you push yourself? We will also discuss returning to sexual activity.
· Healthy Heart
An explanation of what can go wrong with the heart and what treatment can be given, and the things you can do to help keep your heart healthy.
· Stress Management
An introduction to how stress can affect your health and some ideas on how to manage stress in your life. A free relaxation CD will be available at this session.
· Cardiac Pills
What are all those pills for? How long will you need to take them? What are the side effects? –bring with you a list of your medications
· Resuscitation for the Citizen – Basic Life Support (BLS)
How to help someone in a life-threatening emergency until professional help arrives. We will demonstrate and explain these skills and then there will be the opportunity to get some “hands on” learning by practicing on manikins.

· Monday 30/1/12 from 10.00 to 12.30 (healthy eating and exercise)
· Monday 13/2/12 from 10.00 to 12.30 (healthy heart, stress, pills)
· Monday 27/2/12 from 10.00 to 12.30 (healthy eating and exercise)
